Student Assignment 2012 ...
The 2012 Student Assignment was issued to schools by the SEC on the 7th September. The matter of upgrading the CAD PC's for Design and Communication Graphics is currently under consideration within the Department of Education and Skills and schools will be notified of the outcome of those deliberations in due course. Until such time as those PC's are replaced and the software is upgraded, the status quo will pertain. Therefore, as was the case for the 2011 assignment, the CAD software required for the 2012 Student Assignment is SolidWorks 2009.
