Incorporating Computer Control into Student Project Work using a PIC Microcontroller

The NCTE in association with T4 developed a course in " Incorporating Computer Control into Student Project Work using a PIC Microcontroller" which was offered in March 2010 by Carrick-on-Shannon,Cork, Drumcondra, Donegal, Dublin-West, Kilkenny, and Limerick Education Centre's.

The course included hands on practical work for teachers focusing on using GENIE Design Studio to enhance the teaching and learning of Computer Control across the technology subjects.

All teachers attending received GENIE Design Studio software, a USB GENIE plug & play cable,a student project PIC PCB board, plus a component kit which included a range of input and output components.
